🏈 AL A BAM A vs. USC(e) Score?

Bama 35-14. Note this is a potential trap game. But the team seems focused.

No potential, it is a trap game. Can Bama avoid the trap is the question? I think South Carolina is a better team than their results have shown thus far. I'm not as concerned about this game as I was weeks ago, but it's still a concern. I could list reasons why, and I think I did earlier this week, but the key for Bama is that they show up locked in and the leaders lead. Do that, and things should be ok. Don't, and it'll get sideways quick.

Just when I thought I could go without worrying about a game! Now I'm thinking about last year and those teams Bama should have beaten. We all know that this is one of the games Bama was going to lose. I think some on here said that too.

...a team off 4 straight wins to ranked teams now playing an unranked team has covered every game since 1998.

Either the sample size is tiny there or those teams were blessed with a bye amongst the 4 game run, because there haven't been many teams beat 4 ranked teams in a row like Bama just did. Regardless, a 12 point win today can still be a near 10 pucker factor depending on how it plays out. All that said, Bama could win by 30+ and I wouldn't be stunned.

That's the big outlier. It would also include bowl games.

Well, I do like the stat. Hope it continues today.
It's about like the run LSU had in '11, I believe, when most of their schedule was against ranked teams. The four in a row is cool: Saban did that a few times with a break of several weeks included.

I've got a +17 number in my head. If we see that point difference, the stadium empties. There are better things to do on Homecoming weekend.
