Alabama generated $214,365,357 in revenue and has 17 sports (separating men's and women's track and field and swimming and diving). That comes out to an average of $12,609,726.88 per team. Ohio State (just using them as an example) generated $251,613,345 across 31 sports (tOSU separates cross country and track & field so I counted them the same as Alabama as men's track & field & cross country and women's track & field & cross country. I also combined tOSU's pistol and rifle teams into men's and women's versions and didn't count tOSU's spirit squads) which calculates as $8,116,559.52 per team. Using this math to calculate production, it looks like Alabama is 55.36% more productive than Ohio State.
Anybody want to calculate this for the rest of the NCAA? The SEC?
It's still not "accurate" based on how schools report different expenses. I've been watching this for 15 or more years out of curiosity. Very close.

You'll be reminded every time you walk into Coleman as they will add a huge mural honoring the feat to their part of the wall on the concourse.
