🏈 Say One Good Thing About The State Of Louisiana

LSU fans.

When I was in school I traveled with the "third bus" on LSU on an away weekend. I didn't play in the band. I played with...never mind.

When we arrived bottles were thrown at the bus. Literally, they shook it as the bus was being parked. Crazy night. Stalling era.

I've been to LSU and sat and played with guys singing "Flames to Ashes." Just goofin' off before a ball game.

Leads me to a thread idea...

The last team/school I would "kick out of the SEC?" LSU.

The food!!!!!!
I know I have this book. Somewhere. I've looked a few times over the last few minutes and I can't find where it is...so.

The French cuisine influence in their culture came through Nova Scotia. What's cool about the story is it was all about living off of what you had around you.

This is another example of stupid stuff I got lost in...and then started reading.

Here's something that messed up. People talk about immigration...

I'm in a rabbit hole about hot peppers and how they made it to the US. It was across the border. 🙃

Seriously...interesting subject. I'm going to go down to the slave market in the next few days to see how they make their peppers.

I'll get specific and name a place I dont think I've named before? A burger and baked potato at Port of Call in NOLA. Simple, yet perfect.
Heathen. The place is called "Port of Call +Brew."

I ate at the one here. Brunch. A cinnamon roll with a bacon, ham, and a sausage thing with white cheddar cheese. It was GOOD! But..

It was 30 bucks with coffee...30.

Yeah. And, NO. That ended up being a fifty dollar breakfast. Uh. No.

We ain't talking about the same place.
Yes, and maybe no. You are talking about the place in the Quarter, right? For some reason, I think the place here is "related." There is a reason I'm associating the two together: I can't tell you why. I just "know it." It's not franchise...I just can't place it this morning.
