sure... but i watched them this year turn into a team with a ton more speed and better line play than i've seen from them in years. if their #4 player had stayed healthy, they might have been in the picture this year. didn't they lose the game after he went down? he was their speed guy and, from what i saw, about 50% of their offense.

if they wise up and get a big, meaty, fast RB and keep good QBs i could see them getting in the mix... particularly with the type schedule they play. all they need is for the bigger conferences to have a slightly down year (like this year), go undefeated against weaker opponents (like what notre dame is doing this year) and step in.

I thought pre-season we'd be looking at a game rooting for UF to beat FSU based on how the polls were giving FSU love.

Sunseri is a good pick up for FSU, but I tend to have the same thought process as Terry. We've heard that FSU is back for about 5 years now, and Florida proved that they still have a long way to go in order to compete consistently with the elite teams in the nation.

I'm not so sure Pruitt is all that good of a hire...if you're making him your DC.

FSU is always in the hunt until the games actually start then they turn into the ACC version of UGA. Pruitt as the DC isn't that good of a hire I don't think, he's a good coach, but your DC?? Really?? I think Fisher's idea is let's do what Alabama is doing, so they hire an Alabama coach and a former Alabama coach, but they'll learn what Tennessee did and that is our position coaches aren't Smart or Saban.

Perhaps as a coordinator, but he's a position coach still in demand, and his Bama connection played in to this offer. Lack of an SEC offer is inconsequential.

From what I've been told he fell into the Kiffin - Orgeron (sp?) method of recruiting especially with recruits leaning toward his former employer.
