Alabama coach Nick Saban ended his Thursday night radio with strong encouragement to fans to stay until the end of Saturday's game and make as much noise as possible.

"Every time they come to the line of scrimmage, we should make it difficult for their quarterback to play," he said. "Don't think you're not having an effect on the game. ... Make them go silent. Make their players react to the snap of the ball so that they can't hear every play of the game.
"That will be a tremendous advantage for our defense, and it will create some problems for them. But you have to do it."

For those going to the game. It needs to be like that Saturday. And that was 2005 with no endzone upper decks and a few thousand less seats because of construction. How many close games with Arkansas have we had? We have barely beat these guys every time we've played them going back into the 90's. It will make a difference. Get pumped and get loud Saturday!

Roll Tide!

Cue the negative comments about the elderly Bama fans, being asked to sit down, and how some Bama fans just sit the whole time.

I was at that 2005 Florida game, and it was loud because Bama got off to a big start on both sides of the ball and kept it up until Prothro's injury. Typically it is loud for SEC games.

No kidding! When have we ever started a game like that?! Shaud Williams 80-yard run 1st play of game vs. Arkansas would be only thing close, and that was in Arkansas.

Dang, I forgot how fast Keith Brown was.
