🏈 Saban admits to Chewing Kiffin's ass

The one thing we've consistently not seen under Lane Kiffin is intermediate passing plays attacking the middle of the field. How many times have we seen a crossing route 20 yards downfield?

Based on FSU, I'm looking for roll outs and attacking the middle.

Now, that said, a H/T of Ole Miss has been working on that. They HAD (have is what I'd like to use Sunday) to do so.

The other problem I have is our tendency to just pack up shop on offense when it's 3rd & 11+, and just go with a draw play, or WR screen - THAT's pussy ball.

10 years. We've seen field position played time and time again. It's Saban. It's one of those ...

Odds of getting a honest opinion from a USC fan right now? That's a bitch slapped fan base.

Perhaps, but I know many who warned me day 1 about bubble screens and jet sweeps and that was a few years ago. I heard a few of them complain when Kiffin was still the HC.

LOL, I tried to get a USC fan to go to the game with me. He couldn't swing it and he also didn't think SC had a shot at winning the game.

They'll tell you how they hated the jet sweeps, bubble screens, etc. It was all they called at times, they got tired of the play calling and tired of Lane...so much so that someone creatively added the word Kiffin to something that is everywhere - still about the most perfect signs I've ever seen.

Ironically I went to the Texas and LSU NC games with the opposing fan...good friends of mine.

Just for the record... This whole conversation was based on a statement I made about us running an Auburn offense for half the game. I've never said Kiffin is incompetent or stupid, obviously he's not, he's won a title as the OC at Alabama.

But it should also be pointed out that there is a ton of talent on that side of the ball and lots of ways to be successful. You'd almost have to trip and fall to find a way to F*ck it up. Penalties and TO's are the main ways... But we all know that.

And finally, whether the jet sweep fans want to admit it or not, there's a reason Saban chewed his ass on Saturday. He was doing it earlier in the game also... And it wasn't cause he was happy with the play calling. TIFWIW

But, he also knew that a C-USA D-line was running through our STARTING O-line like shit through a tin horn. And the 2s were in. So, if we can't run downhill, then he was trying to run the sweep to keep the clock moving.


And that didn't work because Hassenauer fucked up the timing of the snap. Either that, or Blake fucked it up.

I think CNS may have taken it just a hair too far with chewing Lane's ass exclusively for that fuckup.
