Clemson redshirt sophomore CB Mackensie Alexander "might be limited or out with a hamstring" injury, according to beat writer Aaron Brenner.
Alexander did tweak his hamstring against Oklahoma, but this is big news. Even those who cover the team did not post this news until the last hour. All signs point to Alexander playing, but at what status? It certainly does not seem like the corner will be 100 percent. Injury reports are not required in the same way at the college level as they are in the NFL. Calvin Ridley could have a huge night if Alexander is out, and still might even if Clemson's top corner is available.

The Clemson Insider was told my multiple sources on Monday that Alexander will be a game-time decision, but he is likely to play. Once source said, “He will not miss this one.” According to another source Alexander practiced all week with the first-team defense for the Tigers and did not wear a green jersey (limited contact) at all during the week. We were told he practiced on Saturday out here in Arizona with the first-team defense.

Not sure what to think really. The innerwebz insiders seem to be divided on what his true status is. Im going to assume he is 100% till I see him come up lame in the game. He will play, but if he isnt 100% Ridley gonna Ridley all over dat ass.
