#8 and #6 just make plays when needed
#10 is really having a great year
#32 made a great tackle in space to get us a top
#8 actually made a tackle in space as well...he still ain't it
Not really impressed with #24 running the ball....is a whole lot of hype
Want to see more of #23 at RB....that looks positive
#14 on defensive has some promise
#3 on defense is a threat to them and us

Young and Sanders will be ok, they both just need to play faster. Neither have adjusted to the speed of the college game.

UGA defense gave up 14 to TN in the first half. Im not going to sit here and defend our defense, but they played ok today. With this offense, even without JW, an ok defense will be enough to carry us to the playoffs. From there, it won’t be.

I think we will see the defense continue to get better each week. I’d rather them round into shape instead of peaking early

I would be ok if they would play at a high level all the time lol. I do believe there has been some improvement. Hard to know how much however and how much of it was the Viles.

If you go back & watch some of their games this year, they have a pretty good O-Line & run game. I was please with the overall run defense, especially P. Mathis & Byron Young. Also, lost in the shuffle this year - Josh Jobe has has a hell of a year, so far.

The DL got more penetration today than they had been. They lost contain a few times and got out of the pass rush lanes but it was much improved. I thought tackling was better than it had been. I did not see anyone just running wide open where an assignment was busted. They got beat but they knew their assignment.

Still giving up to many rushing yards straight up the gut in my view but seeing incremental improvement. Still need a guy to develop and standup with a pass rush. Seems like 31 is the most likely person to become that.

Bama has had some grown men at RB. Najee is coming into his own for sure this year. Keep performing and there will be a bigger payday at the end for him.
