Bama Bo's RollTideBama.com Player of the Week
It's that time of the week again. It's time for Bo to name the RollTideBama.com Player of the Week. I know I'm a little late this week, and I apologize. This week has been a little hectic. I know you all are very anxious to know who it's going to be this week. I mean it's not like you guys don't have the prognostication skills of Our Expert, so it's not like you have any clue of who it is. If you had the prognostication skills of Our Expert, you all would know who it was before hand every week, and we would need Our Expert to tell us who was going to win all of the games he predicts every week. We would all know before he ever told us that North Texas was going to lose.
Since you are all just sitting on pins and needles, who is it going to be? Who is the one that displayed P.R.I.D.E. (Personal Responsibility In Daily Effort)? Could it be Keith Brown who had a great day catching 2 key TD passes? Or could it be Javier Arenas who played very well on defense and ran a punt back for a TD? Could it be Kareem Jackson again with his interception, field goal block, and all around steady defense? Or is it Rashad Johnson who led the team in tackles and had an interception? No, it's not any of those guys. They are all well deserving, and any one of them could deserve it this week. No, the person I believe displayed the most P.R.I.D.E. is:
Wallace Gillberry
Wallace had a very good night. 6 solo tackles, 2 assists, 3 sacks and 2 QB hurries. He was all over the field. Even if he was not credited with a tackle, or a hurry, he was right there in the middle of the action. This guy may have went unnoticed on signing day, but he is surely being noticed now.
So here's to you Sultan of the Sack. Mr. Wallace Gillberry, you are this weeks RollTideBama.com player of the Week.
