🏈 Robert Marve to walk-on at UT?

Came across this note this morning...

Thought this was interesting, considering he was a former Shula target. I believe he is trouble, though, but more power to him.
Former Miami quarterback Robert Marve is considering walking on at Tennessee instead of accepting a scholarship at Purdue, according to sources familiar with Marve's options...Miami won't release Marve to Tennessee, Florida or LSU in the Southeastern Conference because it believes tampering occurred prior to his departure from the Hurricanes.

Since many call them uthug, he would fit right in. Would love to see him there. Besides the dissension he would cause, seeing him beat down by Bama would be the icing on the cake.

Maybe the kid can straighten himself out but I doubt it if he goes to UT. Isn't the Newton kid that was at UF transferring to UT also? I think the Marve kid needs to take that ride to Purdue and get as far away as he can and grow up.

I believe Newton was being looked at by Tennessee and Mississippi State, so it doesn't seem to be set in stone. Honestly, Tennessee needs to do something...if I remember correctly they didn't pick up a QB last year.

Yea, your pretty good, will you go to the NFL? Probably not. So, you need to worry more about your education. Walking on to Tennessee(where they are having issues with academics) vs a scholarship to Purdue.....yea.

They are looking at him(Newton) for the 2010 season, he will be in JC this season?

I wounder if Coach O took off his shirt and posed for him to seal the deal? Kiffen and Marve may be a match made in heaven, I don't think either one has a clue as to what they are doing.
