I don't think I need to remind you guys of the conversations last year about AJ not playing in the Senior Bowl. If there were 10 different opinions out there on why he didn't play, I can assure you only one was right.

The subject of him not even going to Mobile to talk to scouts? There was something worth paying attention to; closely.

Setting that aside, but just using it for context, if you haven't noticed Brett Hundley has turned down an invitation to the Senior Bowl.

Does this have any effect on where he goes in the draft?

I think it does have some effect. NEGATIVE!! Even though this class is going to be limited on the number of QBs coming out. I think scouts want that one on one interaction with the kids much the same way a college coach wants that interaction with a prospect.

While AJ didn't interact with them there, I do remember there was a stink after he was drafted so late about him not interviewing well. ( I assume at the combine) I'm going off memory of what I had read, but there was banter about him having a bad attitude, etc. Interesting to see how this turns out for Hundley

I read an article on AJ recently and since being reactivated......coaches have high praise for him and seem to think that Jason Campbell will leave d/t free agency and that AJ will back up Dalton next year.

It's funny to me that turning down the Senior Bowl game could impact you negatively in the draft. Especially when other personal decisions don't seem to have any impact.

Agreed!! Drug arrests-good; sexual misconduct- good; stealing - good; breaking the NCAA rules on amateurism- good; turning down the Senior Bowl- DAMN you!!
