🏈 Reported: B.J. Emmons and Aaron Robinson are planning to transfer.

1st thing is Good Luck you two... (no afraid of competition much? comments) just this.
What is the impact of this on Hunter Brannon and Joseph Bulovas (Blueshirts) and Jarez Parks (Grayshirt). Or will these be used on a couple deserving Walk-Ons for at least their senior seasons?.
We all expected one of the RB's if not two to move on... but Aaron Robinson who seemed to be locked in as a DB back up who played in almost all the games last year if not all of them

Had to figure someone would leave at the RB position. That much depth, 1 ball, and try to split carries to keep everyone happy was going to be tough. Good luck BJ.
A. Robinson leaving is a little more shocking to me to be honest. The young bucks in the secondary must have passed him. Good luck to you as well.

Frank Gore as well?

Damn, hate to see this. I was thinking both of these boys had strong futures in Tuscaloosa. I completely understand Emmons, though I was very excited to see what he could do healthy after all the stories we heard about him. Hope he goes JUCO one year and gets on the field D1 for two more years, maybe three if he gets any medical exemption.

At one point last year, there was talk of Emmons foot injury being career threatening. With the stable of backs we have, I wasn't surprised with his news. The fact we are losing another DB that was supposedly in the rotation for playing time considering last year...that is surprising/disappointing.

Bummer... Especially Emmons. Love his game, backfield just too crowded.

I hate to see a kid like Emmons play sparingly and use a year of eligibility as a freshman... That would be frustrating to the player and family. Would leave a player like him considerably more optimistic if he was a RS freshman battling for carries than a true soph.

I thought Robinson had a chance to play this year! Diggs moving to corner almost certainly hurt some feelings... Guys went from having a legit shot at playing to fighting for a backup position. I know Saban liked him a ton out of HS because he flipped him at the last minute, with some highly regarded recruits waiting for the green light.

Good luck to em'. If Emmons is healthy, he's going to be a beast somewhere in 2 seasons.
