šŸˆ Remember hearing about OU's Joe Mixon punching a girl?

Come on now.

Being someone who has listened to rap music most of my life, when I hear people bitching about thugs and rap I always think about the beginning to that song. Which on the album starts off with "we're not against rap, we're not against rappers. But we are against those thugs..".

I figured you would get it. But you weren't a bone thugs fan.

No I'm a Bone Thugs fan it just didnt connect at all though it def. should have.

I tried to listen to this guy. Honestly, I gave him 5 minutes. It sounded like one of the guys on CNN whining about Hitlery Clinton and her loss. Whether the girl had a criminal history or not, didn't have a damn thing to do with him knocking her ass out in the floor! I mentioned in an earlier post that I "thought something may have been said between them before they ever walked into that restaurant." Seems I may have been right on that. If Mixon called the guy she was with a "fag, queer, homo, etc." and she or they responded with n*gg*r, then why follow them into the restaurant? Let it go.

See thats why I find interesting... everytime we see someone on CNN that gets shot by a cop or by a moron that thinks hes a cop playing neighborhood watch the first thing we ALWAYS see is the VICTIMS criminal history... no one seems to have a problem with it then? Just points out how that person was a "thug" and why they "deserved it"... Wonder what the difference is here? Hmmmm.... Your response was exactly my point...

But dont pretend that her admittedly being drunk and high at the time has no barring on the situation, it certainly does.

Didn't say being drunk or high did. Why do you take everything so personal? And you do, without a doubt! Discussion is one thing but being argumentative on EVERY FLIPPIN' POST seems to be your MO much like Kiffin and his damn jet sweep. I honestly believe you like it.

Let's talk about the facts. According to Joe Mixon, the girl didn't call him a racial slur, someone that was with her did. She pushed him and apparently "hit me so hard if felt like a dude hit me".

He's a liar and a coward (for hitting her and fleeing), no way in hell that slap felt like a dude him hit.

Felt like a dude hitting him?

That's funny.

It looked more like she was trying to pick his nose than actually hit him.

Joe Mixon served 100 hours of community service, some amount of counseling, and was suspended for the entire 2014 football season by Stoops. Was it enough, who knows.

It's too bad that people are ok with her getting hit for calling him a name or pushing/slapping him. I'm all for equal rights, but I don't think what she did warranted Mixon's response.

Haven't seen a single person on here say it was "okay"... in fact I think everyone that doesn't think the guy should be murdered for his actions have all pretty much still said yeah he was a piece of shit for throwing a haymaker at a female (I've seen it at least half a dozen times at this point). My whole point was lets not pretend like she was this little delicate flower that had no fault in the situation because she 100% does hold some fault.

What was taken personal? You're assuming I took something personal based off of what? Im not argumentative on "every flippin post" but some of you take everything I say like I'm being combative when Im not (maybe its the way I word things but Im really not). I was pointing out a double standard (that you made sure to not even attempt to defend by the way)....

I guessing the final count is, 'two wrongs don't make a right.'
