🏈 Ragland gives Lane a Piggyback Ride

I guess I have to change my opinion of Kiffin a bit.
He is still a bit of a buffoon and I still question his play calling at times. That said, he seems to be a much more happy guy as a OC. I don't think he is ready to go back to being a HC, at least not for many years. I am sure he has grown up some in the two years under Saban but probably still not enough.

That's awesome. I think he stays another year or two. He's having too much fun. It would only help his resumé. He seems like the kind of guy that wouldn't care about a mid-level HC gig. I think he waits it out till another big job opens up, while padding his resumé under the best coach in the business.

He recruited Barnett here. Maybe he wants to stay and develop his own QB for his system.

The sentiment about Barnett is the one thing that I think would keep Kiffin here for another year or two. Honestly, when Saban hired him, I thought he would be a 2 year man, 3 tops. I always felt it was about repairing his image and learn a little along the way.

Hate his play calling like 70% of the time, but this is what I really enjoy about him. This is pretty cool/funny. Add that with the ass slap from A'Shawn, and I think this team enjoys having him around.

This entire team plus the coaching staff included seem to get along as well as any Bama team I can remember since Saban has been in Tuscaloosa. Looks may be deceiving, but it just comes across that way to the casual observer.
