🏈 Quinton Dial shows KaeperDICK how to NOT be a douche..

Which ones..lol Black panthers, black lives matter, ISIL.. those are the ones he speaks out for and that his girlfriend and he support and follow. My guess is that is where it is going.

I am going to step back from this conversation for now. Arguing patriotism, veterans rights and morality with a couple of liberals has proven to be pointless over years and years of experimenting. When your idea of right and wrong is spoon fed to you by CNN you have no brain to truly contemplate facts and have no morals to truly understand right from wrong even if you did.

First off, I don't think I've seen more than 10 minutes of any CNN, MSNBC or just about anything on TV news in the past 5 years at the most... but considering you probably have your idea of right and wrong spoon fed to you by Faux News why am I even defending myself?

Hell I work with individuals that run inside when retreat is about to be played. Not once have I seen anyone run outside ready to stand and salute. But yet those same military members are "outraged" by his actions. meh.....

I won't lie, I learned pretty quick when to go outside at certain times of the day...otherwise you'd get caught.

THAT WAS MY POINT! King was far more disruptive, impactful, and as of yet, radical in his stances! Yet, he's a hero now. Colin is being persecuted by you guys for doing FAR, FAR less than MLK Jr.

Again, you didn't listen to Colin's interview. Your accusations are worthless without first listening to him.

Like I keep telling others in this thread, go play the lottery!

Your point was that this was only the beginning, yet you're praising his efforts in the same light as those that have sacrificed. This guy hasn't sacrificed shit or become "disruptive". I don't need to continue to hear a guy that is protesting a cause by belittling an entirely different meaning. The fuck does sitting for the anthem have to do with black people being shot? I think I'll go on a hunger strike because of the Michael Brown shooting. No one cares and this will change nothing. He better get into the communities where these problems occur and put his money where his mouth is. My entire point is go put your money where your mouth is. There's no point continuing this conversation because people like yourself stand by conflict that makes no sense in efforts to display your own ideals. Have fun getting this guy's back and have fun seeing how he'll never follow this thing through, whatever he's actually persuing.

Im a veteran... I still serve. He's not disrespecting me. Hell I work with individuals that run inside when retreat is about to be played. Not once have I seen anyone run outside ready to stand and salute. But yet those same military members are "outraged" by his actions. meh.....

His protest hasn't affected a thing going on in my life. Except for the constant news coverage about it. I find it funny that there is more outrage over him not standing than there is for the reason he's not standing.

Thank you for your service first and foremost. I do have a question though... why are you serving our country? What would you do if a majority of the country felt like he did and did not appreciate you offering your life for his freedoms or if he blamed you for the injustices of a few? I understand there are bad seeds in society and even our own military, but I'm soeaking as a whole, not one instance.

Quote my remarks where I supposedly did this.

This guy hasn't sacrificed **** or become "disruptive". I don't need to continue to hear a guy that is protesting a cause by belittling an entirely different meaning. The **** does sitting for the anthem have to do with black people being shot?.

Watch and listen to the interview I shared, and you'll understand his intentions. It doesn't take a genius to recognize the increased public awareness that comes from visible celebrities doing simple things. What he does from this point onward though, we shall see.

No one cares and this will change nothing. He better get into the communities where these problems occur and put his money where his mouth is. My entire point is go put your money where your mouth is. .

You're ranting without absorbing the full content of this thread. I can't help you if you refuse to scroll carefully to see where HE IS PUTTING HIS MONEY WHERE HIS MOUTH IS.

If I were you, I wouldn't be continuing this conversation either. Like I already encouraged you, I'd leave immediately and play some lottery or something. Go put your fortune telling skills to productive use rather than berating the peaceful expression of conscientious citizens.

Wow, clever rebuttal. And I don't mean putting literal money into some BS group that means nothing in the scheme of things. Put your feet on the ground and be a presence, not a bad look for your cause. His inte tions are aimed at the wrong people. The military didn't cause this.

Way to add some insight and telling me to go play the lottery, very grown up of you. And we wonder why Libertarians are nowhere close to winning the White House.

Let me provide some help to you Kaepernick haters. My comments relate to the highlighted portions.

Colin appears anti-American, unpatriotic, untrustworthy, a "douche," etc.

View attachment 6062

You feel threatened at his disbelief in the national myth and in his apparent rejection of your tribal identifier/descriptor. So you attack him as "the other" in self-defense.

View attachment 6063

I need to believe that my tribe is great, noble, and deserving of honor and respect. Yet Colin (and others) are not recognizing it! If they don't respect my tribe, they are disrespecting ME too! Aaaahhhh! :flaming:

That's why this country is going to hell in a hand-basket! No one respects people in uniform who are trying to hold chaos at bay! And by chaos, we mean unpleasant change which forces me to reevaluate how I live my life. I don't want to change! I don't want new, foreign, people entering the country looking for a better life! I don't want Muslims taking over the country! And we all know Colin is a closet extremist Muslim! Protestant, white, males MUST remain in all positions of power, or else I won't ever be able to trust the authorities!

I'm really to blame. I was naive enough to believe in government propaganda, like the "American Dream," despite how economists have long told us that an indefinite rise in the US standard of living and perpetual economic growth were never viable and sound concepts. I was naive to believe that law enforcement actually protects us from criminals, but instead it protects government and its cronies from us. Along the way it has produced the largest prison population in history. I was naive enough to believe that the military protects the lives, liberties, and property of Americans while improving the lives of foreigners too, but in actuality the military has failed in all of those objectives. I conflated fighting for the country with fighting for the government, the same government which now openly admits to supporting in Syria the same folks who attacked us 15 years ago. Not to mention the government, who the veterans fought for, doesn't even care for them when they return damaged, physically and mentally. The result is 20-something suicides every day.

Simply put, the anger I am projecting outward towards Colin and others is really misdirected frustration within myself for being sold fool's gold in my formative years. Growing up is sometimes hard, and I'm really just having a tantrum with all the NFL protests.

You're full of shit. You claim to have served, maybe you did, but I gotta strong suspicion you were 'that guy' in your unit. Stop trying to cover your disdain for America because you didn't get what you wanted out of life with this faux intellectualism copy and pasted from an internet sight. I saw things in service to my country that I didn't like or agree with as well but I was never naive enough to believe America was perfect and fortunately had people around me that taught me sometimes shit happens but you don't have to let it beat you and become a victim. No matter what you think of the wars or American policies (here & abroad) this is the greatest country on earth, warts and all. There is no where else on this planet where a person can or does have more opportunity. Among the men I served with (of all races and backgrounds) you'd get your ass beat spewing this bullshit. I know this is cliche but if you're so convinced that America is a fraud and you've been lied to and had your piece of the pie stolen...GTFO. Yesterday. As far as Kaepernick, I believe he has every right to kneel, sit or scratch his ass during the anthem and I won't say a word but that doesn't mean he's not a shitbird. Also, try not talking down to people. You'll sound less like a pompous asshole.

I apologize in advance to everyone else for this.

In related news, several NFL Players, including our own Julioooooooo Jones wear custom 9/11 memorial cleats, despite the league threatening fines...

Honesty, I don't understand why players can wear pink for cancer awareNess without a problem, yet the league has a problem with this? Isn't it supposed to be the NATIONAL Football League? Bunch of ******* communists.

Seven 9/11-Honoring Players Defiantly Tell NFL Where They Can Shove Their Patriotic Shoe Fines

I choose to serve because its something I wanted to do at the time....never regretted it. But what has he done to not show appreciation for what I chose to do. There are things that people do everyday that I don't agree with, but that's what they chose to do and I chose to not let it affect me. I do what I do in the military so he can have the choice to do what he's doing. To me, him not using that freedom would be not showing appreciation. What's not showing appreciation is when I go fight a war but come home and I'm still looked at differently because of my skin color. It happens. People try to overlook it, but it still happens. It happens everyday.

How is it that we as Americans can support one constitutional right and the people that use it, but be angry at another person for using another constitutional right. Veterans fight to defend all rights.... Or just the ones that we agree with?

See, here's the flawed logic in the "constitutional rights" argument:

It might be his right to do what he's doing. Just like it's my right, as an adult, to drink myself into oblivion and act a fool of myself if I chose to.

But, depending on the circumstances, it's not RIGHT to drink myself into oblivion.

It's his choice to speak on social injustice, sure. But to totally disrespect the flag and Anthem just because there's a few things he disagrees with is NOT right. Even though it's his right to do so.

You have a mouth, right? It's used for chewing, drinking, breathing, and speaking. There's a time and a place for speaking. Do you speak at a funeral of a loved one? Unless you're called upon to do so, NO. You keep your fucking cake hole shut out of respect.

There's a time and a place for everything, rights be damned. Him choosing to bring attention to social injustices during the presentation of our anthem and colors is NOT the place or time for that bullshit.

And everything you just said is personal preference. In YOUR eyes its not "right." What gives you the right to tell him what he chooses to do is right or wrong. You may not like it, but he hasn't broken any law.

It's called decorum.

As the Bear called it, class.

Neither of which KaeperDick has.

If the Bear were coaching the niners, he'd have kicked his ass off the team for this shit.

Literally.

Kicked him in the ass while telling him he's no longer part of the team.

So in other words he should be politically correct. Do what others think is the right thing to do. Not offend the masses. Shut up and color.
