🏈 Question

Anyone here ever been on the sideline? If so, got any advice on what you did or thought about doing afteword that would have made it better?

Reason I ask is Im going to be on the sideline for the Iron Bowl. My uncle got the contract to set up the pyrotechnics for that game and I will be helping him. Now, my biggest gripe is, I MUST stand on the barn sideline and the biggest camera I am allowed to bring would have to fit in my pocket, but its something I have never done and cant pass up. I may also get a chance to go inside/ on top of the scoreboard after halftime.

Follow this link to their website. It describes what you can or can't take into the stadium.

Remember, we want to see pics of the tears streaming down the faces of their coaches and players after the game!

If you speak to any yong kids in street clothes (i.e. recruits), Spot their name on their name tag and then give them a "Roll Tide".

Wearing Crimson would be good. But also, make sure that your emotions let everyone know you are a Bama guy. Always remember that you could be in the back ground of a Daniel Moore print, and having a Bama fan on the Aurburn sideline would look SWEEEET.

Have a great time. Take lots of pictures. Don't blow anyone up!!!

Alright. I didnt get alot of pictures, and most of them were not great. I am not a good picture taker and they would only allow me a camera the was small enough to fit into my pocket. I was also not allowed to wear crimson, so I wore green.

Here are a few shots I got. The young guy is me, the older guy is my dad. He's a Barner....... yeah yeah, dont ask cause I dont know.

It was a great time though. First experience for me and my dad, hopefully we will be able to do it again next year!

am I the only one that doesn't see someone wearing green in this picture. (edit, see the pics below now).

Also not sure why you weren't allowed to wear crimson, no way in hell I would be at a Bama vs Barn game and not be in my colors, period. I'm confused.

My bad, Im not a computer person. The second set of pictures is me and my dad. I was there because of my uncle (Auburn grad). He is the reason we got into the game. He sets off the fireworks before the game and during touchdowns. If I wore my crimson, I wasnt getting in. It was that simple.

First set of pics, thats my dad with Pat Dye.

What was sad was that most of the action, actually all of the touchdowns happend on the other side of the field and we didnt get any of them in front of us, just the 2 field goals.

The Julio miss was all the real action we seen out of the endzone we were standing in.
