First off, glad to have you guys over here for some good nature bantering back and forth. I know quite a few Arkansas fans personally, and everyone I have ever met is extremely passionate their Razorbacks........enough of that


I know you guys are probably the closest I have ever seen to the Alabama fan base when it comes to having "love" for their coach. Your fan base is extremely happy with Petrino and love what he is doing and where he is going.

Have you kept up with Nutt and the Charlie Foxtrot that has become the Ole Miss Rebels/Bears? I know you guys were ecstatic the day he left, but did you ever see the wheels fall off in such a way? I liken it to Dennis Franchione and the aTm debacle, but I never would have thought it would get this bad at Ole Miss for Nutt. I figure a 6 win season on a regular basis, a win against MSU every year or so and go bowling pretty regular and he was set.

Do you have any sympathy for the guy, because he was "one of yours" or do you just point and laugh?

I think the majority of us are in the latter category. I know when he was here he did love the state, but he just has that raw stench of used car salesman that I don't quite think I will ever forget. I like the cheerleader mentality to a degree coming from a head coaching standpoint if that is where your strengths lie. If he would have stuck to the rah-rah stuff and let Malzahn call the offense the way he wanted, I have a feeling we would have had a victory over Florida in that championship game. Nonetheless there are coaches that can do the cheerleader stuff and have absolutoley no clue as to what is going on with the game itself, look to LSU and Les Miles for a perfect example.

Nutt started off elated to be the Razorback head coach and he was well intentioned in his efforts... After a period of time he became all about himself, and self promotion using every chance possible to exploit his own value over that of the team. Things got personal about 3/4 of the way through his tenure. So much so that he literally did the unexpected and went to the airwaves to defend himself against a news paper oped piece.

After continually throwing players under the bus, lying to the fanbase and underachieving with the greatest backfield in the nation.... He was finally booted.... Yes folks, he was fired and given 3mil to get outta dodge.

Nutt isnt the mastermind in the scenerio.... His agent is Jimmy Sexton is a genius period. If nutt leaves OM soon there is a 6mil buyout clause.... By my calculations he would have gotted between 19 and 20 million bucks over the last 4 year alone...

Houston Dale Nutt is a pretty good Used Car Salesman, but a college football coach he is not! He belongs back at Murray State or Central High School in Little Rock. Personally I do not like him as a coach or a person. Arkansas fans are enjoying the con job he has placed on Ole Miss. We at Arkansas have seen it all before. He is great with other coaches players, especially following coaches that preach discipline, Danny Ford at Arkansas and Ed Orgeron at Ole Miss. What makes me sick is that the SEC has made him a rich man!! He is truly a con artist. I have been a Arkansas season ticket holder for more than 30 years, but almost gave them up because Frank Broyles would not fire him. Thanks God THAT IDIOT IS GONE! I will say that Ole Miss is not as stupid as our administration was and will probably give him the boot after 4 years instead of 10 years!!!
