I have no doubt about the fight part of it, but I think maybe the defense quitting is an excuse for them getting starched by the Gamecocks

Maybe I missed it, but where does the NIL money come into play? The article only alludes to it at the beginning, then says nothing else about it. Are they going simply on conjecture and just making shit up to get clicks (wouldn't be surprised)? But to say something could be due to something else, then make no other mention of it is baiting. Which is a bitch move, in my opinion.
