Alabama has announced a press conference for tomorrow at noon for "select players." Dareus' guardian has already said hes going, AL.com is claiming that Julio has already spoken with a financial adviser so he's gone, and we all heard the stuff from Barry Sanders Jr. about Saban supposedly telling him that Ingram is gone. Still no word on Dont'a, Barron, or Maze yet though.

My son saw the tape scroll across during the bowl game last night. Ingram and Dareus leaving, and then I told him Julio and Maze will probably go also. He got mad and asked why are all the good players leaving. Poor guy, he's a big Julio fan and even has a jersey. I told him because he wants to go pro. And he said so what he needs to finish school. lol

Dareus isn't going to project much higher, he should go. Although Ingram is projected around 20-25, he's the top running back in the draft so he should go as well. Also, running backs have a limited number of years in the league so I think, in the long run, he would be hurting himself by staying. Julio, although I would love him for him stay, should also go being projected in the top 10. I'd like to see Hightower and Maze return, but it's been said already, Maze's drawback is his size and he isn't getting any taller. Hightower already has a season ending injury under his belt. Although I think he could improve his status, I don't blame him if he jumps.

Bottom line is, there are a lot of talented guys waiting for their turn. Although it will hurt to lose such leadership, we have a lot of guys coming back and many more ready to step up and define their crimson legacy.
