It really sucks to be so spoiled that we don't remember when beating any ranked team was thrilling. I remember 1999, the OT win over Florida and then the thumping we put on them at the SEC Championship. And I remember the 2000 season where the wheels came off. Right now too many are acting like this is 2000 all over again. Yes, it stings more because it was those goat-humpers down the road who ended our undefeated season. But do you really want to go back into the desert where we win 10 games every 4-5 years and never seriously challenge for a NC? Really? When was the last time Bama won less than 10 games? 2007. Most losses in a season in that timeframe is 3. Finished in the top 10 in AP every year and in the top 5 six times. Shit stings but damn are we privileged. Enjoy it while it lasts.
