Just a couple of quotes from Peter to show you why you shouldn't even click on the link.

You see, we college football fans are no different than the teenage girls clicking refresh on TMZ.com 10 times a day for the latest Taylor Swift gossip. We're no better than the middle-aged couch-bound women obsessed with Jon, Kate and the Ed Hardy wardrobe and the rooster hairdo that accompany them.We love dirt. We love juice. And we love controversy.

For some reason I have no problem believing the bold text above. Nice work Peter and perhaps we should pitch Survivor "College Football"

Interesting that part of his case against the ref's was Paterson's statement that he had both feet in bounds. (That's certainly an unbiased source, lol.)Gary Danielson was on with Finebaum this week and added something to the discussion. The two officials who might have made the call were, per danielson, screened from seeing what happened by Chad Jones, and made the call that Paterson was out of bounds. They didn't have the option of deferring to the replay booth, had to make a call. the review officials had only the two shots which we've all seen ad infinitum by now. One showed Paterson's feet in bounds (the "divots") and the other one showed Paterson making the catch, but neither conclusively showed that he had control of the ball inbounds. In addition, in the shot showing Paterson making the catch, Julio appeared to have a hand on the ball. If Julio touched the ball before Paterson gained control, by rule the ball is dead. The replay rule requires that the replay have incontrovertible evidence to reverse the call made on the field. In view of all of this Danielson reluctantly conceded that the replay officials made the only call that they could have made. He then suggested the NCAA adopt the NFL replay rule, which I think is a sound suggestion.
