Name a church that is politically active in this way. I don’t know of a “church” that receives money from the Fed Govt and donates to “their”political candidates, causes to keep them in business. HRC, the “smartest woman in the world”.was going to quadruple PP’s govt aid from 500m to 2 billion. PP is an abortion mill that offers other services. BTW, Satan ihas his hand in most everything

Let me rephrase religious organizations, well known Pastors, and churches (most notably SBC and even though it’s against the law) they don‘t have to get fed money as they’re not taxed at all, so that’s getting fed money, hence how some of these pastors have mansions, sports cars, jets, etc. Here’s a deal for you- tax churches and religious organizations and we can remove fed money from Planned Parenthood….deal?

Amazingly I haven’t found one thing to back up your claim that Hillary was going to quadruple PP‘s money.

I’d suggest not reading right wing info when it comes to PP because they’re not a “abortion mill” by any damn stretch, less than 3% of their healthcare performed by them was abortions, so you have a far far different definition of mill than everybody else.

Satan doesn’t have his hand in anything, there would have to be a satan and as I don’t believe in that, I don’t believe he has his hand in anything. But, a long those lines god would have his hand in everything too you know since he’s “all knowing”

I was playing golf several years ago for a fundraising of another "mega church" here in town. Cathedral of Praise. They were starting a school, it was golf...no brainer.

I played a round with the pastor that day and he said something I thought was profound. "Sunday services aren't meant for members, it's meant for visitors."

(Same day he said he doesn't watch porn because why watch something you can't get involved in. That was a little eye opening: but blunt and frank.)

In my view, the word has been worn out to the point it no longer carries meaning. I'm liberal on a lot of issues. I'm conservative on a lot of issues.

Seeker service. In that approach, the service is of course for worship, but the sermons are less in-depth in terms of teaching, and more about bringing in the unsaved or uncommitted. Deeper learning and discipleship are found in Sunday School and small groups. Our old church had the theme: "making followers out of wanderers, and disciples out of followers".

So explain to me why my tax dollars should go to killing babies? You’re not forced to donate to a “church” that you don’t believe in, so why should we be forced to donate to the killing of the unborn? Healthcare? Abortion is not health care; pregnancy is not a disease. Believe what you want, free will.

Exactly. That's lead to a "revival" of what was happening in early Christianity. The "in depth" discussions are in someone's home. I find that interesting because it's akin to segregation.

Darren and I have been talking about this, this morning. The Mt. Pleasant campus has a service for the "piano and organ" crowd as well as those who want to "Jump," for lack of a better expression.

This is fundamentally false.

The problem with abortion is it's being used as birth control because someone didn't want to wrap their dick in a rubber or someone wasn't on birth control.

NO ONE denies there are health care issues with pregnancies. People do have an issue with using abortion as birth control. "I can't afford a child" rings hollow when someone could afford everything one night except a $5 box of condoms.
