🏈 Phillip Ely considering transfer from Alabama

Unfortunately its his MO, hes done it before. I think maybe it was a really poor attempt of saying "i know what you look like" because the first time he posted it he also threatened to whoop my ass via PMs lol

lmao he said he would even meet me somewhere so I google searched the nearest gay club and sent him the address... im assuming he didnt show.. lol. because then he said he was gonna whoop my ass if I ever showed up in Tuscaloosa.

Would you prefer ill will?

No, I would prefer he stay. An able well coach capable game ready backup quarterback is probably the second most import position on the team.

I see no need to wish him ill will, but I just don't understand sending these guys that quit to play elsewhere with what amounts to a ticker tape parade? A quitter is not a hero...

I guess I am from another generation and just don't understand this new "me generation".

Let's just say I am glad Mal Moore decided to do the right thing and stick it out when he was the backup quarterback to Joe Namath and Pat Trammel...

Quitting would mean Ely stopping playing football. That is not the case. In fact, in his mind, Ely is probably making a positivemove for him so that his career has a better chance of CONTINUING.

I see where you are coming from, but I think it's a bit limited in scope.

Who else is here is thinking it aside from you?

Now you know what everyone is thinking?

From the sounds of things, you sure seem to know not only what everyone is thinking, but exactly how they will behave in any given circumstance. Must be nice.

Does it get lonely up there partner?

Age has nothing to do with it, though I am close to 40 and played football. Your arrogance is really making you look bad amigo.

I love it when people from the generation who gave us Medicare and Social Security accuse people under 30 of being a "me" generation.

especially considering its their kids and grandkids who will be paying for it. This whole crap about the WWII and Boomer generation being somehow morally superior to the X generation and below is laughable.

Well, one is from the 60s and one is from the 30s, but your point can definitely apply to any generation that precedes another. Same goes for any generation; people will always see themselves as being better than the next group, for whatever dumb reason(s). I always hear people my age say kids today aren't disciplined enough or are spoiled. Bleh.

Not sure what generation OLDSCHOOL is in so i hit them both to prove my point. If he's a boomer he has even less room to talk.

Good thinking. Some folks just like to be really upfront and douche-y about 'their' generation. It's their misfortune, really. Just makes 'em single-minded and ignorant.

So just out of curiosity: did y'all determine he is also CC? Or was that just a joke? I saw a few CC references on another post so I am just wondering haha. Was never a fan of CC, but OLDSCHOOL never really bugged me til this thread.
