🏈 Penalties, Over/Under 5

This was mentioned on another thread, curious to what y’all think.

In honor of @Rolltide24 and @mando:

Over under on the number of costly penalties AL A BAM A will have against the Viles?

The number is 9.

For “costly”, you could say:
Penalty that results in a 1st down for opponent
Penalty that gives opponent another shot on a failed 3rd or 4th down play attempt
Penalty that prevents us from scoring (takes points off board)
Penalty that negates a first down for us
Penalty of 15 yards
Penalty that loses us a player (i.e. targeting)

Just some suggestions.

I was thinking the over/under more in the range of 11. I’m hoping we can keep the false starts under 5!

With the noise I would think we could have close to 5 false starts alone. The O/U should be more like 10 with the discipline issues on this team .

It would be a “Good” in the Good, Bad, & Ugly post-game thread if we only had 1 each of the first five. A targeting penalty goes into the “Ugly” category.
