🏈 Paul Finebaum Show

I will listen to Finebaum from time to time for entertainment value alone. You can't really take him seriously because his entire M.O. is to stir the pot between the two fanbases. He seems to have no quams either about selling out "friends" i.e. Tubberville, to jump on the newest thing in town i.e. Saban's bandwagon.

The guy's a turd but he is actually pretty funny and the people that call in a good for some laughs as well.

The key to Finebaum is knowing what he is and just enjoying the ride while it's pro-BAMA. It will eventually change, and it always does. That's what he is about.

I know many...many people who do not like the F-baum, so I guess I am in very small minority because I really enjoy the show and he is actually a really good guy, but like you all have said he stirs the fans to keep it entertaining. Not only that but he gets a lot of good guests because he is highly regarded in the industry. For instance, not sure if you guys heard it but he had Terry Saban on recently.

After that dude from Gadsden whoops his ass you wont have to listen to him anymore.

That was so funny. Not sure if you heard it today but Paul asked him "whats wrong do you have a speech impediment" and he said "yeah actually I do Paul, and it is just like you to make fun of a handicap"...even more reason for him to open up that good ole country butt whoopin on him. Great radio IMO

I've tried on several occasions to listen to Finebaum but his show eventually bores me to tears. The topics that he considers noteworthy are a waste of perfectly good airwaves. I can't stand a bald guy that takes himself so seriously. Overcompensation, IMO.

If you approach Finebaum on the radio like you are watching a TV show, you will completely enjoy it. It is for entertainment purposes only. There is just enough fact and sports analysis by people like Kirk Herbstreit and some of the others to make it seem like a legit show.

But some of those callers HAVE to be paid by Finebaum and are fake. I-Man and Jim From Tuscaloosa? Come on, those guys can't be real, or any of the people like them. Shane and Phyllis?

The Barbara Dooley segments are some of my favorite, but Gene Stallings is the absolute best guest to ever be on that show. He is awesome.

So you get a chance to hear some good stuff, but you can't take it anymore seriously than you can think people on CSI are really investigating real crimes.

Finebaum, Cowherd, Neal Boortz, I love 'em all. I'm a talk radio junkie.

I keep dreaming of the day when they'll invent a satellite radio that can pick up channels from your favorite local markets. I'll rock out to W-JOX in B'ham all day! :D

Thats a great interview!

Finebaum's show is like a train wreck.. You cant help but see what's happening.. He keeps the pot stirred but I am loving all the Aubies calling in whining. I especially love it now that they are down and Bama is on the rise. The same ones laughing at Bama over the recent years are the same ones whining about AU's problems now and I LOVE IT!!!

:D :D I knew that was coming -- really awkward. He seemed like a decent person but was still completely delusional. I guess that is a compliment for "those fans."

Between him and Charles from Reeltown, Finebaum's in trouble!
Forgot about that guy. :)

I think Tony Franklin is going to be on the show today.

I would suspect it is a bit too early for that interview to have any "gems" in it...although, just his presence should be enough to send some of the "Tuberville guys" over the edge.
