Paul Azinger has officially been named Johnny Miller's replacement on NBC's golf coverage

I like Azinger. His book "Zinger" that he wrote about his battle with cancer is very good.

Funny story he told once. When he first came back after cancer everyone was being super nice to him and treating him like glass. First tournament was on the East coast and he said he hit a ball into horrible rough and was trying to flail it out. One fan screamed "Get a weedwhackah 'Zinger" and he said he knew he was back where he belonged.

Miller is very much like Joe Theisman when Joe was calling football. Hyper critical, overly harsh and seemingly angry over the career gone by.

It is a shame because both have great knowledge and understanding of the game but it is overshadowed by their presentation and attitiude

Miller was a great golfer and when he got hot not many could play the game better. He should have followed the lead of Ken Venturi and add grace instead of a double dose of arrogance. I doubt many people will really miss Johnny's call of the PGA. Hell even Faldo has learned to be humble.
