Ok, OK. I know we have a couple of BIG games coming up, but have any of you started planning ahead JUST IN CASE? I sacrificed getting off work to travel to Atlanta in order to take a little Vacation to California around the 8th of January. Hotel booked, tickets reserved. All my eggs in one basket? you damn right. Who's comin' with me?:a: RTR

Well as fans it doesn't hurt for us to look ahead, all that superstitious stuff is just that...superstitious.

With that being said, I've already looked into possible ways of getting to Pasadena...even the Amtrak. I took the liberty of getting a credit card just in case, hell I can cancel it anyway. A little debt is worth a one in a lifetime thing if you ask me.

Well maybe not once in a lifetime but let's be honest, you never know in college football. I'm hopeful for many more oppertunities and quite honestly we'll all expect it in the end. This one would just hold a lot more meaning then any other ones.

The thought of a college road trip of a lifetime has crossed my mind many times. No telling man. I might pack up with some buddies and head out there. Its doubtful, but you never know. I wish it was in the Big Easy this year.

I have my ticket order in with the UA...assuming this is the year that I rise high enough on the list. At this point I'm waiting to see if its New Orleans or Pasadena. I've heard that that area has more hotel rooms than Tuscaloosa. Wish me luck on waiting until after the SECCG to reserve a room.

It might not be once-in-a-limetime, but it sure has felt that way since '92. (Man, I'm getting old.)

Yeah, thanks. I remember '78 and '79 quite well too. :nopity:

I requested tickets through my Tide Pride membership for both Sugar/ BCS Champ Game just in case. Of course I'm on the low spectrum of Tide Totals so I only get them "if available". Now I have been able to get tickets for every bowl game since 2001. So hopefully I'll get them this time. Then again alot of big money could demand the TP allotment if they goto the BCS game.

I have a couple of friends in the Orange County/ Pasadena area where I may be able to crash.

I've got tickets ordered for both Pasadena and 'Nawlins (just in case). I was going to go to Atlanta, but I had to decided Pasadena or Atlanta? I think we win in Atlanta, so I chose Pasadena.

I was old enough to remember 1992, but none of the others. So, this one will be extra special to me.
