There is such a thing. When most of the people are peacefully protesting that means mostly peaceful. Also, law enforcement provoked and started some of the violence, just as they did in Denver and tried in Austin, there was absolutely zero rioting or anything in Austin and cops showed up (DPS, so violence is expected from them)and peaceful protesting was met with gas. Denver was peaceful then a few decided to sit in the street. People peacefully protesting and you decide fuck it weā€™re shooting gas? Yeah, in some cases violence needs to be met with violence and a badge doesnā€™t protect you from that.

Walmart isnā€™t going to support these protests in any fashion, that family is right wing and Trump folks. So, if theyā€™re supporting anything it would be the overreaching cops.

Youā€™re bringing up a few instances, 12,000 people protesting, a couple hundred rioting which according to any math would suggest mostly peaceful. I donā€™t support looting or rioting, but the same people against these protests are the same people that supported the rioting of J6, wonder why that is?

The dictator in this case or the wannabe dictator doesnā€™t want ANY kind of protest, he decided the guard was going in when it was all peaceful, he escalated things, he canā€™t stand people disagreeing with him.

Youā€™re right I donā€™t like the blue line bit. We can go the blue line route, theyā€™re my ā€œbrothers in blueā€ and while I would help a cop in trouble, that doesnā€™t mean I blindly back them no matter what, I can criticize the ā€œblue lineā€ and am more than qualified to do so. What some of them are doing and have done in LA and other places is escalate things, so that they can overreact and play with all their toys i.e 40s and such. They know theyā€™ve been given the green light to do whatever they want and this administration will back them completely. I believe law breakers should be arrested and charged to the full extent of the law, but I also believe shooting media just because should also be dealt with to the fullest extent of the law. Escalating things with protestors so that you can shoot your shiny new 40 should be dealt with to the fullest extent of the law.

You don't have to stop in those situations... they can MOVE... and you have a reasonable expectation of fear and harm... thus if you stop you are a victim..

I want these worthless activist cops gone.. most of these cops now are more concerned with causing trouble within their own department more than stopping it in the streets... just about every cop I've talked to says this new generation of cops is the worst they've ever seen... and that's probably the reason why the response is so terrible and this shit lasted over five days... It should've been cleaned up several days ago.... but most of the administration and the cops are slow, walking everything... I'm sitting here watching you blame everybody, but the troublemakers!... you are an activist cop.. and for that I hope you fail..it is no one's rights to burn things, threaten people, commit violence against people, and your police and responders with weapons, and interrupt commerce... the insurrection act should've been called two days ago... and any people without legal status should be carried out after a military tribunal... They had their chance to go home!!... They chose to stay...

The old ways would get it done a hell of a lot better that this "kinder gentler shit"...The ones throwing the big rocks should be in forensics... now they're giving out body armor, helmets and military grade equipment...like I said.. the police has not only emboldened these people, but have failed miserably in stopping them.... so now it's time for martial law... it's time for potential deadly force... These people will either go home or they will die in the streets.... if they do not get a hold of this, we will be in a civil war.. and when the good people finally have had enough... well the police better get out of their way..PEOPLE ARE FED UP...People want to get back to their lives...They want safety... they want tranquility.... The riots have been going on for six days (today will make seven) and the guard was two days ago. The narrative the guard escalated this is not true.

Hypothetical: Ten protests, one is violent. "Mostly peaceful" is dismissive in my view.

I just saw a clip of two people blocking a black lady from leaving to go to work. She was mocked, "go to work." There are mom and pop shops that can't open because there is no foot traffic in these other nine protests. People aren't going to the local ACE if there's 30 immigrants outside on the street.

I made a light hearted remark about Denny's headache the other day. I'm not the only one saying that's where LA is heading right now. And, none of that was hypothetical. It has happened.

I am thinking it's another "redefinition." I said this years ago. I'll phrase it another way, "the bastardization of the English language." How casually phrases like "gestapo" were thrown around. "Hitler." "Nazi." "Brown shirt."

Now, the word "peaceful?"

I'll repeat myself. I'm thinking about "Joe" that owns that deli on A street...a street full of protestors. They ain't buying sandwiches. Now, Joe's windows haven't been broken but his business is being killed. And that's...peaceful? If Frank sees a burning car on B Street, is he going shopping on A Street where there's another protest?
 
When an elected official like the governor Pritzker of Illinois or the mayor of Chicago johnson refuses to suppress these riots, they should be brought up on federal charges... they should also be investigated by the civil rights division for bringing up issues of race.. all people should be equally protected under the law...people of all colors are suffering effects from these riots...NOT JUST ONE RACE..
