šŸŒŽ Over the last several weeks, months perhaps, I've watched how casually the word "fatigue" is being tossed around. And now, trending on X, "riot."

In my opinion you need to stop ascribing this to a party. It's not. It's a sect of a party. While publicized, it likely doesn't represent a majority.
I'll take this a step farther. @ElephantStomp and I disagree on some things. You put this bullshit on his block? He's not sitting down. He's a Democrat, tried and true, but he's not bringing a knife to a gun fight.

There’s nothing against the law about protesting, so officials calling for a ā€œnationwide protestā€ is well within citizen’s rights. Nobody called for riots.
Except some insinuated..."call to the streets" isn't "let's protest." Marching outside a man's home? That's harassment. Remember, separating job from life?

Let's step back a few years when Waters was calling for people to disrupt families eating dinner. That's not a protest.

I do not envision some sort of utopian society. I tend to avoid bullshit.

Maybe if enough pressure hits the right people... just maybe they will get rid of this element of their party. This is bringing it down.... but unfortunately, the leaders of the party are the ones doing it.. so until it's fixed, the rest of the Dems are guilty by association... they need to get rid of Pelosi Jefferies Jay Pal, Maxine Waters AOC and more... the biggest voices in the party are the ones egging on the violence..

Here is where we wholeheartedly disagree.

That statement, in itself, is a remark a bigot would make. See Websters.
Until the party decides to remove the radical leaders or greatly limit the trash that comes out of their mouths ( especially in their official capacity ) then that is the only conclusion to come to...The main leaders of the party want this strife and angst because they want to be the " only" party... when they come on TV and demand "nationwide protest", they know good and damn well it will not be "peaceful protest"... they want to force their views and lifestyles upon us all... and you cannot disagree with them or they will become violent...

The party versus the people. That's what I'm saying here.

You are being intellectually dishonest by grouping actions under a party. There are a lot of Democrats upset about LA right now.

You may consider my "stance" in life as humanist. I look at individualism. You are, who you are.

The people in riots in LA right now may be Democrat. That doesn't mean they represent the party (in spite of Waters, Pelosi, et. al.)

I do get where you are coming from...just choosing to watch. The thread indicates I have a trigger.

"Costco card at age five." I'm stealing that one.

This is funny.

Block the roads I'm driving on and I MIGHT slow down to make sure I hit your dumb-ass center mass. Then again, I might just speed up. If you want to stand in the middle of the road, then you deserve whatever happens to you. Person vs. vehicle is always a 1-sided fight where the person always loses...ALWAYS.

I'm all for protesting, as long as it'd done legally. But trying to block traffic (whether it's vehicle or people), setting stuff on fire, throwing things at other people and/or cars, or other violent behavior is NOT protesting. That's called rioting. And that's against the law.

May I offer a thought. This is what they want.

The best "story" of what's happening in LA right now is Karen Bass. (Ironic, no?)

Correct... blocking the roads or telling me I cannot pass and go where I please is tantamount to abducting/kidnapping me....It should be for anyone..These people today, think they can force their will upon everyone that don't see things their way... it would be a big mistake for them.. we can always agree to disagree., and that's about it...

What you are seeing now is violent!... and the moronic Democrats are calling it peaceful.. and it's against the law when they tell them to take their asses home and they stay around burning shit and throwing rocks... officers are allowing themselves to get seriously injured and doing nothing about it...Try that shit where I'm from they better have their affairs in order..
Again I will say NOBODY is calling for violence. We have the absolute right protected by the constitution to protest. I can tell you from my LAPD buddy that most of the protest is peaceful, but the media and politicians are only highlighting the riot aspect. They’ve had upwards of 10,000 people marching and protesting, but they don’t show that because it doesn’t fit their narrative (media and government).

I’m with Terry in that you cannot attribute this to the entire party, it’s a small sec of the party

Where I work now we have protests about something damn near weekly, we’ve had some get close to what some would say is a riot- that shit gets shut down quick and I have zero issue doing so.

This entire comment is wrong. The main leaders of the party do not want this and they have spoken up greatly about the riots. ā€œNationwide protestā€ is in fact what they want, nobody is calling for rioting. In fact many of the party leaders have said ā€œprotesting is great, but we have to stop this, this is what the President wants, so he can escalate thingsā€. You and I both know your comment about ā€œdisagree and they become violentā€ is absolute bullshit.

If you do that then I would suggest getting your kissing lips ready and get your affairs in order because you’re going to prison for a long damn time.

What’s going on in LA has NOTHING to do with ā€œforcingā€ anybody to share same views, this has NOTHING to do with you or your buddies that share your ideals, like absolutely nothing to do with you or forcing shit on anybody.

I guess the people want those riots, looting and burning... SEND IN THE MARINES AND FINISH IT NOW..THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WANT ILLEGALS GONE... Even a lot of Democrats..

Protest they know will result in the very violence and chaos you are seeing now...
