LSU is a top job, better than USC, and will get a lot of interest. I know some of their big money folks like Cristobal and I think he'd very seriously consider it. I think Napier will get a look, but I bet Woodward aims higher (not saying he should). There is a segment that would love to get Joe Brady, but I doubt that happens. He wants to stay in the NFL and work his way up there.

With some of the stuff they are dealing with, I personally don't see that as a legit possibility.
They've proven they just don't care, and Hugh has been away from the big time to be, in my view, at liberty to return. Napier, possibly.

It's a tough thing to see a completely amoral, classless bum get a $17MM payout. Would much rather see him stay and drive them completely under the turf. I'm sure he'll be fully engaged for the balance of the season, along with the certainty that no more of his dedicated team opts out before then. How many season ending surgeries to get ready for combines are left in the press release hopper?

Yeah, and he’ll name them Floozy 1, Floozy 2, …

Well that's just asking for a Doemasters photoshop...

I figured his departure was imminent while listening to his postgame press conference yesterday. He looked and sounded like a coach who had already made up his mind or had his mind made up for him, to leave. He lost any sympathy I might have held for the man with his ridiculous postgame anti-Bama rant in 2019. While we were watching him spew those boasts I told my son that promises like that typically come crashing down around the boaster … and it seems that’s going to be the case.

I'm at a loss that someone can do so much wrong, yet walk away with millions into the sunset.

I was a fan of Coach O until I heard about rape suppression and the other incidents. I have absolute zero tolerance for that crap. If LSU had any sack they would can his ass and not pay him a penny. They won't do it because it implicates them at different levels, but no way does this asshole deserve a $17M buyout, nor does he deserve the right to not answer for the wrongs.
