While the intensity was not what it needed to be Saturday night, there was never any negative attitude on the BAMA sidelines and that is probably why Alabama went on to win the game.

If that hadn't been an issue in the past, he wouldn't have pointed it out. The word process gets talked about a lot... but that is just another example of it.

By the way, contrast that with the negative attitude from some of the fans in the stadium Saturday night (hopefully a very small percentage). They, are not at all part of the process. They represent everything that Nick Saban, and most of the rest of us, hate.

Saban commented during one of his Crimson Caravan speeches about fans booing their own team. He said it puts a negative atmosphere towards recruits visiting the game which is always a bad thing. He also said while he understands why people boo their own team, not being happy in their performance, Saban said that however pissed off you are he feels that way times 100.

I feel the coaches put the players in the right position to win ball games i.e. making a good gameplan. It's up to the players to execute that gameplan correctly.

Is it ok to openly hate on those type of fans here? :x :D

Absolutely. In fact, it is encouraged.

I knew I sticked around here for the right reasons.

I think many of us will agree and speculate that last year we wouldn't have won that one.

I agree, that attitude is borderline insanity. Imagine if Tulane was the first game and Clemson was the second game. How different do you think the reaction would have been from the "fringe." The simple answer from an average fan like myself is we played great in the first game, and played poorly in the second game. Like the Colorado Coach said "This is Division 1 football!!!"

I was listening to Eli, and Tom, and could here the boos on the radio. If you are one of those people, shame on you. Pathetic.

I never have understood why some fans do that. I've been pissed off so bad at times and still just couldn't see booing my own team.

Booing your own team.....

Never done it and quite frankly it is embarrassing to hear it. Actually, it pi$$es me off. I mostly hate it when they boo the opposing teams.(Barn and Viles excluded  ) I feel that gives the other team added motivation.

Free country but booing the team....amateur.

I've never booed my team, not once. But, fans today are paying big money to see the product on the field. It's one thing to say that CNS feels 10 times worse but he's making 4 million a year. He ought to feel more than ten times worse. He's not paying to see the product. Just a perspective. If you don't like what you see, you can always stay home. I turned in my season tickets in the Dumbose era. It happens.

10/10!!

I have been preaching this since the hiring of Saban. The Alabama fan base has some real problems....these people are it.

"If you cant do anything positive for the program........"

To hear the crowd boo you in your own stadium is one of the worst hits to moral a team can take. These idiots that expect a perfect season every year need to come back to reality. Makes me want to slap each and every one of them.

Maybe fans are booing lack of hustle or lack of effort. I've heard fans boo what they perceived as a lack of creativity on offense. I'll repeat, I'm not for it, but a fan pays good money and can voice their opinion however they see fit. If you can hear the boos, it's not an isolated person. More than one person has a problem with something.

More than one person has alcohol problems. More than one person is a drug addict. More than one person is a murderer.

I don't want to sit here and tell you guys that i've never booed in B-D stadium before, but i can't remember when. Usually, I just sit at home watching on TV in disgust! Saturday night, I thought I heard boos, and was so stunned to hear it, one week after the demolishing of Clemson, I couldn't believe it.

I thought our guys were working hard. One needn't look beyond that O-Line to see those guys pushing and shoving. Let's get real: this game was never in doubt. They spotted us 13 points, and they were so impotent on offense inside our 30 yard line that I never doubted we would win. I also kept thinking the entire La-Monroe game last year that we would find a way to win. So I've been wrong before!!

No BOOING!!!! Leave that to the 15-20,000 people that go to see Auburn play!!

I've never been to a 'Bama game w/ the exception of a spring game. I'm not going to elaborate why other than 'MONEY'.

That said, I don't see how I could pay money for a game to support a team & then boo when what the team really needs to is support. It is a real shame .

Some folks seem to have a sense of entitlement since they paid for the tickets, but why be there if you are not there to cheer your team on? :(
