I've watched this series off and on again for years. It's not something I follow, but at 1 in the morning it's something to have on the TV in the background.
Let's make this two things that are random ...
It's different watching the same show, same writers and producers, but different cast members through the years. One episode with one pair of detectives versus another with a separate pair (plus different Sgt. and often the DA) makes for what seems to be a different show.
The biggest thing that strikes me about the TV Guide? You flip through and see an upcoming episode, "Season 18, Episode 12." And it was originally recorded in something like 2003.
ON a related note: Criminal Intent. The season where they had Jeff Goldblum as one of the lead detectives? I'd suggest the best season in the entire franchise.
The casting agents have a knack for great looking red heads!
