I think we all understand how skewed this is. This appears to be a graphic to try and quell the words that these kids couldn't handle the money yadda yadda. How many student athletes are there? How many sports won't be affected by this? Football is holding 99% of the pot. Does anyone know if guys like JD Davison and other higher ranked basketball players have made deals yet?

It's all D1 athletes included.
@TerryP where did this data come from? Are student-athletes required to publish the info to the school or ncaa?
To the school, yes. NCAA, no.

It's just a data dump off of published records.

I'm sure football is the driver right now. Basketball will begin to warm up in October/November. Some sports (water polo, soccer, rowing, fencing, synchronized swimming) will drive the averages way down.

Softball will drive UA's over a grand average. Last move goes back to paying ladies like Kretch...Haylie is fielding a lot on the pro side and she'll make some coin here
