Alabama hires Mario Cristobal as O-line Coach

Cristobal was Miami's assistant HC, and was FIU's head coach prior to that.

Big hire here. I'd imagine he's gonna be the guy recruiting south Florida... Miami fans are probably a little disappointed, as he was just hired in early January to be the TE coach, after being let go from FIU as the head coach.

If I remember correctly, when FIU played Alabama recently, he made some comments that he played against Alabama back in the early 90's (he was the tackle at "The U").

Solid hire, the coaching up is more of a team effort with the coaches either way. As long as he preachs technique, this could be a lateral move in coaching.
