My little thought on the whole Micheal Sam thing..... I have no issues with it what so ever..... BUT!!!!! IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED THE SAME AS EVERYONE ELSE....ACT THE SAME... meaning dont turn everything into an event. I understand its important to the gay community but move on.... and the same with any other thing in the media... like donald sterling.

And for the record I jave no issues with what ever AJ has said or probably will say....

Yeah but at the same time how many times have we seen straight players kiss their girlfriend after being drafted (it happened at least a dozen times this year) and noone cares. So that goes with the whole treated the same thing you mentioned. I have no desire to see two men kissing and ESPN/NFL Network def. didnt need to replay that bullshit over and over, but at the same time who cares?

I will not change my NFL viewing habits. I watch the Saints and Falcons occasionally, and the Super Bowl.

I want Sams judged by what he does as a football player, and nothing else.

I don't see the big hoopla about Sam. Yes, he's gay, yes, he's the first openly gay person in any of the major sports leagues, but to me at the end of the day he's a football player that unless something changes I don't see him making the team purely on talent, but like I said I think he's staying on the roster if for no other reason than because of the PR for the Rams.

Now, I have strong opinions about the subject, but this isn't the time or place for those opinions, but I'm happy for him to be drafted now it's time to go to work and make the club
