🏈 Official 2014 NFL Draft Thread

Do these same people need to throw people under the bus? The guy 10 minutes after leaving school started running his money maker about younger dudes on the team then he's non-stopped whined about people holding winning against him which is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Then he tells people NFL teams have him graded as a first round pick which is obviously b.s.

Create their own motivation by acting like a pechulant child? He's been a crybaby throughout this draft process. He doesn't attend the senior bowl which could've helped him, but then he starts with his "people are holding the winning against me".

I dont wanna get into a pissing contest here but good lord, no wonder NFL teams hold things against him. "Fans" call him a whiner, a child, and a crybaby. I would have rather he not put the thing about young guys on the team publicly either, but the other stuff is just some of you being assholes imo. He feels like he has been slighted, he's heard for two years now "he isnt as good as the wins suggest, he has all the talent around him that wins not AJ, hes overrated, etc." so yeah I could see being a little annoyed with that and using that as a motivation. And I would love to see where he has been a crybaby, by saying he thinks he has 1st round talent (which Jon Gruden agreed with) thats being a crybaby? Answer questions honestly is being a crybaby? I think he def. has listened to the wrong ppl, most likely an agent, but good lord it really is rubbing ME the wrong way how some of you are acting towards AJ. If this is how "fans" act then damn...

"Glad hes moving on too" one of the most unbelievable things I've ever heard. Im not gonna keep harping on this, apparently you have reasons to dislike a guy that did nothing but win and win championships... (of course we'll never know because you give the ridiculous cryptic "another issue that I heard that I cant say out loud")... and some ppl NEED to create their own motivation. I'm glad you're happy the most winningest QB and record setting QB we've ever had, lets hope you're not eating your words and wishing we still had him come September...

Kevin Norwood selected by the Seahawks.

I'm not arguing that he wasn't a good QB for us, he was. He wasn't however a good leader. Had he been, he'd probably won another championship. And for some clarification, the "issues" isn't something I heard or read. It is stuff that I've witnessed first hand on more than one occasion that speaks to his character.

I was joking earlier about the arena league comment, I do hope he's drafted into a good situation. He's far from my favorite player, but I hope he matures and succeeds. Dude just needs to grow up and quit acting like he buried behind the worlds largest 8 ball at every turn. The act is old.

Hope he has a day of humbling and I would bet he knows that he needs to listen to his heart instead of all of the outside voices talking to him. He has always been a winner everywhere he has played. It is hard for a leader to change that. Good luck and thanks for your game at BAMA.

NFL teams hold things against because some of us fans all him a whiner? NFL teams are holding things against him because they view him in the same light as those of us that dont share the opinion that he's greatest thing to hit Alabama. Some of us being assholes lol and that's one of the reasons he's still not drafted, so that comment is fitting.

I'm grateful for his part in UA's success, but that doesn't mean he's immune to things just because he had his hand in our success. There have been a lot of players that had their hand in the team's success that haven't ran around talking out their asses like AJ has done and some of them aren't ever going to play in the NFL, so the "motivation" thing is just silly. Jon Gruden might've agreed with the first round grade, but it's painfully obvious him and AJ were WAY wrong.
