It was an analogy I was after. The set up on new laptops, etc., are pretty easy now-a-day with ability for Windows users to build what they want, where they want, etc. It's an easy UI, but can be time consuming.
Same here ... the server side is Linux, but the set up for some of the new add-ons and the updates is eerily similar to the UI Microsoft is using today.
Ya know, actually thought about adding the ability to play music in the background here ... never looked into it in much detail other than knowing it can be done. In a sense, we did that here ... geez, back eight years ago or so.
We've talked about this before with Android OS for mobile. I understand what you use on your devices. As I recall, that conversation happened along the same time we were making a move from vB (due to its instability) to xF.
My earlier comment wasn't directed at you, but I did use your comment as the base for my post. There are those who may not understand what all goes into one of these upgrades. I've had a few conversations about it off-line or in PM's. Fatal swoop kind of thing ... answer it here versus a half of a dozen times via PM.
