That is a part of the point: he's linked to a lot because he's had his hands in a lot.

He's already spent four, maybe five years with the NCAA as an Exec-VP. He's spent time as an AD (WVU.) There's time with the XFL, time with NFL Europe, several years in futbol ... well rounded resume for the position. He sued Vince McMahon so he's got "litigious" going for him.

He may not be the ideal guy. He looks like an improvement at a cursory glance.
