🏈 Now we have NBA teams deciding to boycott the season. Okay. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I haven't cared for the NBA in a very long time!! I gave up the sport when MJ retired after his last ring. Like Terry said, they have been given everything to promote their call for justice but they boycott it? When all of this COVID crap hit and shut down live sports, I cut my DISH bill in half by taking ESPN and the other sports stations off of my package. I haven't bothered to renew it yet either. Sports are meant to take peoples' minds away from all of the fuss and chaos in our everyday lives, if only for 2-3 hours a day. I long for those good old days of sports being sports.
As for Booger, he doesn't know me nor my heart. Sadly, people do turn calloused to it when they have it crammed down their throats 24 hours a day.

YES, I AM YELLING!!!!!

I DO NOT AND WILL NOT WATCH PROFESSIONAL SPORTS. I HAVE THE UPMOST RESPECT FOR ANYONE WHO DECIDES TO PROTEST IN A PEACEFUL/NONVIOLENT MANNER. I DO NOT RESPECT OR SUPPORT ANYONE WHO ENCOURAGES OTHERS TO RIOT, LOOT, STEALS OR ATTACK OTHERS AS A SIGN OF PROTEST.

PRO PLAYERS/ACTORS OR POLITICIANS OPINIONS DO NOT REFLECT THE MAJORITY OF OUR COUNTRY OR ITS PEOPLE IN MY OPINION.

Well....they need to step up...as a group....as individuals...
If they want owners to....
Everyone has moved on like it’s someone else problem to fix...
Whatever they see is the problem...
Trump gets AA highest employment rate...and they still dont like it ( because the press has told them he is evil)...
So what you want...nba multimillionaires...

Being reported that the NBA players have voted and will resume playing today. Either someone smarter than them pointed out how foolish it was to boycott or they have seen reports out that the guy in Wisconsin wasn't as innocent as the media initially proclaimed. I don't know if anyone else has seen this, but he had a restraining order placed on him, had a warrant for sex with a minor, was known to carry firearms, etc. A released 911 call from his ex-girlfriend saying he was there and wasn't supposed to be and he had taken her keys. Police went to carry out the arrest warrant. They tased him and he refused to comply even after being tased. He was reportedly brandishing a knife as he was walking and pulling away from the officers. Sounds like their narrative got squashed.

I'm not a team owner or commissioner so I don't care one way or the other what the players do. But what are they accomplishing exactly? They talk a lot, but say little. Has a single athlete in any sport said or done anything that it is helpful to the overall issues? I haven't seen it if so. And no, donating money to bail out programs for looters and berating law enforcement on social media isn't helpful. Let me frame this another way... y'all remember when a few Atlanta cops didn't show up for work one weekend after their city leadership threw them under the bus several weeks ago? I had no issues with them doing that either. But, only one group walking out on their jobs en mass would actually have an impact on society as a whole, and it ain't the dudes getting paid millions to play a kids game for a living. Walking out on a job though is a privilege I've never been afforded by an employer in my life. In fact, I've been involved with firing people who did just that. So file that away when Lebron and his all-star squad of dribbling sheep preach to us about privilege.

One side note on the NBA stuff, you know Vegas is not thrilled with all this. They've been waiting for months to make up some lost revenue in the Sportsbooks, and now there's a legit possibility that the NBA players might pull the plug on the playoffs? LOL

Sounds like their narrative got squashed.

Most of the them have shown time and time again they don't care about "what really happened" and they never will. They can get away with it because nobody holds them accountable. Hell, Minneapolis was looted again last night over a wanted criminal who shot and killed himself. The video of him doing it (clear as day) was released, and the cops were still blamed. They simply don't care.

I'm more curious than ever of who LeBron James has such powerful influence over. I am about sick and tired of hearing about him being the guy that got up and walked out, the guy speaking up and demanding everything, and him being the lone voice of an entire league as if he honestly speaks on behalf of everyone. Hey, I get it, he's Top 5 best ever, he's been anointed since high school, he'll be a billionaire, and he has done some great things for our youth. I just wonder if the media sets him up on his perch acting as if he's the end all be all, but I honestly wonder just how much influence in society he has.

Just a continuation of the judge, jury and executioner theme based on social and main stream media coverage. No one waits to get all the information before they rule against the alleged perpetrator. By the time all the evidence shows up, the conviction has already taken place. New evidence cannot overcome the bad evidence.
