🏈 Nick Saban to Joe Paterno: 'You're the best'

I am one of the people that has always said we need to keep rammer jammer. But after last nights game and all you could hear on national tv to Joe Pa was we just beat the hell out of you. I am not on the get rid of it band wagon. That was disgraceful.

you say that was disgraceful....so wouldn't it make it disgraceful to do it period??????double standards maybe????

As usual, Scabturd could not go more than a few paragraphs without saying something caustic in regards to Alabama or it's fans. Still, the article was nice in it's own fashion. Reading between the lines allows me to reaffirm - yet again - just how classy our own Coach is. Roll Tide.

I didn't think it was completely awesome last night, but to be so black and white is to miss the point. Rammer Jammer is almost always SO completely awesome. Should we not do it to Auburn? Tennessee? If we have to choose between doing it in good fun against everyone, Paterno included, or not doing it at all - I choose doing it.

Its a freakin cheer. I really dont see any problem with it. If you dont like rammer jammer, dont sing it. Im sure Penn State and other teams around college football have heard worst. I would imagne the band played rammer jammer after the 79' sugar bowl too. Joe Pa has heard it before.

Are you all serious? I was at the game and I saw nothing disrespectful about the rammer jammer cheer that night. And this is why...IF YOU WERE AT THE GAME you would know we cheered their team when they came out, and that we also cheered Joe Paterno as he went into the locker room at half (he gave a little jog and lifted his fist) IMO the best part of the game. We do rammer jammer after every game and personally I think Joe would have been disappointed if we didnt do it (he knows what Alabama football is about). And as another post said Im sure he has heard it before. GROW UP!!!!

Actually, everyone knows that when you grow up you have the ability to differentiate between an insult and a simple cheer that happens to rib the other opponent a little. Growing up means you stop crying about meaningless things.

Scabs being...well...scabs. As mentioned that guy can't go a few lines without throwing spewing some crap just to spew it.

I don't think Joe is going to go cry in a corner because he heard a cheer from fans. I'm sure he knows he was respected and the cheer is all in jest.

Couldn't agree more....

Im all grown up and i dont care about nor would sing THE CHEER .
As i was walking back to my sons dorm room back about 01 when L.S.U. handed us our butt on a platter the TIGER fans let loose on those who just got dissapointed in the streets after the game .Isaid to myself then ''well im all grown up now ",ill never sing Rammer Jammer again."
