šŸˆ Nick Saban Kicking Off to start both Halves

I believe he is referring to the FSU game where the idiot announcer (Danielson?) kept saying after halftime that we chose to kick off to start the second half when we kicked off to start the game. I missed the start of the game myself, so I though the announcer (who was in the stadium for the whole game one assumes) knew what he was talking about. It wasn't until this thread came up that I looked at the stats for the game and realized that the announcer was an idiot. Our first possession of the game came on the opening kickoff. I think we may have been three and out so fast that the idiot forgot we got the ball first.

I remember a Mike Dubose team made this mistake. They have changed the rule in college football so if you win the toss, you donā€™t decide to kick or receive, you decide if you want to make that decision at the start of the game or defer the decision to the second half (which is silly cause why would you ever ā€œdecideā€ to kick?). Anyway, at the start of one game, Bama won the toss and one of the captains started yelling, ā€œWe want to kick, we want to kickā€ rather than deferring the decision. The official ruled Bama was making their decision now and choosing to kick so the other team would have the decision to start the second half and they chose to receive again, so this has happened before. I just hope our LSU buddy isnā€™t confused and thinking Dubose is still our coach. If he is, then some of his posts make a little more sense.

Since you seem to be hanging around the forums this morning and castigating others for supposedly offering misinformation, perhaps you will tell us exactly which game the 'genius' Saban elected to kickoff in both halves.

Surely, YOU would not be a hypocrite and provide misinformation while also expressing your displeasure at others doing such a heinous thing. Right?
