A total of seven University of Alabama football players were selected in the 2015 NFL Draft. Here is a run down of where each player landed and what the experts are saying.
Amari Cooper: 1st round, 4th pick, Oakland Raiders
What they're saying: "We liked him as soon as we saw him on tape. When Cooper was there (at No. 4), we were excited. When he was there, it wasn't a whole lot of debating." Oakland Raiders General Manager Reggie McKenzie
Landon Collins: 2nd round, 33 pick, New York Giants
What they're saying: ""He's a versatile safety. They asked him to do a lot at Alabama. We always like guys who have a lot of versatility like that. He's played a very high level of competition. He can play on the back end, he can play in the box. "He'll come right in and compete for a job at that position." New York Giants General Manager Jerry Reese
T.J. Yeldon: 2nd round, 36th pick, Jacksonville Jaguars
What they're saying: "If he was there (in the second round) we knew it'd be a really good thing for us. To me what shows up is he's got great vision, really really good instincts, great anticipation. Tremendous instincts, and they showed up repeatedly." Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley
Jalston Fowler: 4th round, 108th pick, Tennessee Titans
What they're saying: ""Jalston's a general manager's dream because he saves you a roster spot. He can play fullback, running back, H-back, wing-back, tight end. You can detach him as a receiver. He's got capable hands out there." Senior Bowl Executive Director Phil Savage
Arie Kouandjio: 4th round, 112th pick, Washington Redskins
What they're saying: ""A big, physical offensive guard. You talk about offensive line depth, you can never have too many big guys who can move the pile, powerful people." Washington Redskins coach Jay Gruden
Austin Shepherd: 7th round, 228th pick, Minnesota Vikings
What they're saying: "Projects inside at guard. Had a good Senior Bowl. Very tough. Very physical. In-line mauler," Minnesota Vikings General Manager Rick Spielman
Xzavier Dickson: 7th round, 253rd pick, New England Patriots
What they're saying: "A three-year starter at Alabama, real good program. He's played a lot of outsider linebacker [and] defensive end, and in the kicking game. Obviously been in a good program, been well coached. He's played against a lot of good people and he's done well at Alabama." New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick
