What's interesting, LSU still hasn't put an offensive lineman into the first round since Faneca in 1998. Remind me again what their HC's speciality is again. La'el Collins should have gone in the 1st round this year.

Another interesting factoid. I know I've mentioned the offensive line at TAMU that Sherman recruited a few years ago, they'll never see anything remotely like this in the future with Sumlin.

Sherman signed 6 offensive lineman in 2010, 4 of 6 drafted in the NFL, 3 1st rounders and a 5th rounder.

• 2013 Joeckle, 1st round
• 2014 Matthews, 1st round
• 2015 Ogbuehi, 1st round & Harrison, 5th round.

For reference, Alabama's 2009 recruiting class signed 7 offensive lineman, 4 of which are playing in the NFL, 3 were drafted 1st round (Steen as an UFA).

• 2013 Warmack & Fluker, 1st round

It's going to be interesting to see how our 2014 Offensive line class of Casher, Hassenauer, Jackson, McBride, Pierschbacher, & Robinson stacks up against Alabama's 2009 and TAMU's 2010 class.

Amari Cooper: 1st round, 4th pick, Oakland Raiders

What they're saying: "We liked him as soon as we saw him on tape. When Cooper was there (at No. 4), we were excited. When he was there, it wasn't a whole lot of debating." Oakland Raiders General Manager Reggie McKenzie
