Going to bed at the usual time, and trying to figure out why it would not be legal, moral, and right to start shooting fireworks off at 6AM just outside the house on the next street over...the one what always shoot fireworks off until 1-2 in the morning because they always buy way too many to finish off before Midnight (or soon there after).

Odd night New Years Eve. Any other night and every neighbor who be phoning the authorites. (Don't suppose that I could play my New Years Eve Card on January 9th after our victory?)

I spent the night repeating my traditional New Year's celebration. Went to bed at 9:00 p.m. and said "Happy New Year" to myself this morning. I feel great!

Got back from the lake yesterday afternoon and spent the evening with friends in my neighborhood, pretty casual evening between football and fire pit.
