DId you watch the game? Fla scored 14 points on 2 turnovers for drives totaling 33 yards. Ran a kickoff back for a TD. The LSU defense stopped them. And, LSU scored more points on them than Bama.

And also, we handled Miss. St a lot easier than Auburn did.

The game is in Jordan-Hare though, so I'm expecting some home cooking from the refs. Just like every time we go there.

I've never seen a team more disrespected than LSU and I know it's because of Miles.

Yes, I saw most of the game. The LSU defense stopped the worst offense Florida has put on the field in years. If you're trying to compare Bama to LSU because of the common opponent, I find your argument lacking. Yes, LSU scored a whopping two more points than Bama against Florida. Let's discuss why that happened, shall we? Alabama went into halftime with a 21 point lead. Saban CLEARLY called the dogs off in the second half. Florida wasn't able to move the ball at all against what is, let's be honest, the worst defense Bama has put on the field in years. Why would Bama continue to show anything on offense when the game was clearly won before the second quarter ended? LSU scored more points because they had to continue to play aggressive offense because Florida was able to score points. I assure you had Florida shown any indication they'd be able to score more points Saban/McElwain would've kept their foot on UF's throat and hung 50 on them. Don't think for a second LSU's offense is better than Bama's based on that one game.

Yes, you handled MSU better than Auburn did, kudos. No excuses but let's look at some circumstances. Auburn went to Starkville after a short week. MSU focused on the Auburn game for a good piece of their offseason; it was a big game for them and Coach Mullen was on a spirit campaign for weeks before the game.

It also took a horrible blunder by Tennessee for LSU to get by the WORST Tennessee team in years. Notice a trend developing?

Not to mention the embarrassing game against what was basically North Carolina's scout team to open the season.

LSU is not only disrespected because of Les Miles. They're not getting respect because quite frankly, they haven't earned it. The UT game should've been a lost. LSU didn't make a play to win that game, Dooley lost his focus and didn't pay attention to substitutions and gave the game away.

I shouldn't have said final play, but the fake FG play. You're not allowed to advance a fumble on 4th down unless you are the fumbler. They spent 4 minutes trying to determine if it was a fumble or an incomplete pass. That's 4 minutes they had to realize, 'Hey, if it's a fumble...this is an illegal play....'

NCAA Rulebook:

A live ball becomes dead and an official shall sound his whistle or declare it dead:

j. When, on fourth down before a change of team possession, a Team A fumble is caught or recovered by a Team A player other than the fumbler (Rules 7-2-2-a and b.)



In other words, turnover on downs, Florida ball.

Um, your team also let them score 29 points. Bama allowed only two field goals. I don't see how your even trying to compare stats. :headscratch:

I believe the play involved a lateral that bounced, not a fumble. I don't the think the fumble rule applies. LSU's lucky the ball bounced well for them, but it's inaccurate to say they cheated.
