🏈 New playoff rankings

I am aware that these rankings don't count until the last one, but I am seeing a strange Big 10 bias. When Ohio State lost they only dropped like four spots (I believe it was from 2 to 6). Now Michigan loses to a very mediocre Iowa team (only their third road games after games against horrendous Michigan State and pathetic Rutgers) and THEY DON'T DROP AT ALL!

That is complete BS! The team just lost to Iowa. Period. They should drop. Period.

Big 10 bias this year - almost like they're trying so hard to promote them this year.

I can see Ohio State at 2 for right now. Their only loss is to Penn State which is ranked #8. Louisville's only loss is to Clemson ranked at #4. Why wouldn't the top 4 be; Bama, OSU, Clemson, Louisville? Or...

Then there's Washington. Their only loss is to #20 USC, and they are ranked #6. Michigan lost to Iowa!!! They're not even ranked!

OK, I'm finished for now...

And Michigan possibly lost their QB for the season. They use to put that stuff into the equation. I too think it's because they know Michigan and Ohio State have a showdown. LSU and Bama were #2 and #4 in the first playoff poll last season and we settled that the following weekend. But the silver lining to this kind of poll behavior would be if we lost a game before the playoffs we're in good shape.

If a Wisconsin or Penn State make it in as conference champs and they pick the buckeyes as well, now we got us a conspiracy.

You really think, in light of natonal Bama fatigue, that if we lost to the barn (gasp) and then won the SECCG, we'd be right back in the mix?

I dont.

They're shaping this up for the top 3 teams that have a chance at beating us. No one else in the top 10, except maybe Louisville, would have a sniff of a chance at beating us.

And by chance of beating us, I'm prognostication about a 20-30% chance of any in the top 5.

Tell me when the playoff committee ever expressed any Bama fatigue? There is no scenario where a one loss Bama team in the regular season is out of the playoff. We have the strongest SOS of any top 25 team, defending champs, and have been the number 1 team in the land for every single week of this season. Not a chance.
