| NEWS New antitrust lawsuit against the NCAA: Challenges the NCAA's prohibition on college athletes playing in outside competitions with prize money.

Do these people understand they are invited to play for and represent a university?.. If they want a job then go get one!..This generation does not want to follow any damn rules anymore..Put their asses on the road!!

So this is for golfers and tennis players to play in pro tournaments? I have no problem with that. Who else would be affected? Track and Field? Gymnastics?
on behalf of a proposed wider class.

How could they not include sports?

I don't see how the NCAA isn't on the losing end on this suit. Last year the NCAA passed/approved a measure that allows tennis players to earn up to 10K per year. That leaves us with the NCAA saying, "you can make money, but only so much."

I don't see how this isn't the NCAA violating the Sherman Act, again.
