i'm driving to the game from NW Florida. can any of you recommend some easy directions to Tuscaloosa after i get onto I-65 in Montgomery.

also, please give me the easiest directions to Tuscaloosa from Birmingham.

any help would be greatly appreciated! RTR!

Don't get on I-65 in Montgomery. Get on HWY 82 in Prattville. It's not only shorter but the traffic will be lighter. Exit 179 off of I-65 about 10 miles north of Montgomery will get you to HWY 82. Straight shot to T-town then.


Oh, and whatever you do DO NOT exit anywhere in Montgomery. It makes Iraq look like a Club Med.

Tuscaloosa to Birmingham, take I-20 east, I also believe it is I-59 North, and you will go directly to Birmingham. Mcfarland Blvd will run you into 59/20 junction.

Birmingham to Tuscaloosa is I-59 South/ I-20 West follow the signs to Tuscaloosa.

This comes out at 15th Street and University Blvd. Take a right on University, and follow the traffic.

I gave him both directions, from Tuscaloosa to Birmingham and from Birmingham to Tuscaloosa. I had to read his post again to make sure, cause I didnt know how he could be coming from Florida and Birmingham at the same time.
