Well, ND is up by 3 early in the 1st. Not sure how this is gonna pan out with ND's defense and Wittek (who declared USC would beat ND). Real good pass by Wittek just flubbed in endzone.

ND's QB has a lot better arm than I had originally gave him credit for. I'm not so sure that their defense is as big of a weapon as the media has led me to believe though...

ND is showing some holes tonight on defense, I think. Their offense is nothing to brag about either. If we top Georgia, we will run over ND.

ND is not looking like the best team in the country right now AT ALL. They had a real lucky year- luck o' the Irish, perhaps. Scraped by Stanford (on a BS call), struggled vs. BYU and Purdue, and played horribly vs. Pitt. Our only loss came to a top 15 school with the likely Heisman-winning QB after 3 weeks vs. ranked opponents!!! And our only close call win was vs. a top 5 LSU, in a Death Valley night game, after their bye week, and after we toasted them in the BCS. I'd say we had a tougher schedule by far ..

19-10 .. straight FGs since the 1st quarter. ND's offense has cooled. USC needs to step up ASAP if they want a chance at winning. ND seriously does NOT look like the #1 team in the country .. :lance: I really hope we get a Bama-ND natty.

Notre Dame is having issues corralling an offense led by a freshman QB... and now it's 19 -13. Good Lord..... if Barkley were playing it'd been a blow out. Come on.. Irish... we want y'all in the BCS.

If USC wins... Florida is a front runner for the BCS over Oregon based on the number of ranked teams they have beaten each has beaten. Really?

Awful, awful game by both sides. USC couldn't convert on about 8 tries within the ND 7, 4 of those at the ND 1??? That's just sad.

So we can assume, baring what would have to be the greatest game in N.D. history, that the SEC BCS Nat'l reign will continue. More than 6 days to go til the SEC championship game and already I have no fingernails left.. just thinking about it. LOL.

Georgia or Alabama will be the next National Champion. Barring some bizarre twist of fate in which no SEC makes it somehow. Whoever faces ND will win.

To reiterate: ND scraped by BYU and Purdue, barely beat Pitt, scraped by/lucked out vs. Stanford on that BS call .. Tonight they struggled vs. a backup frosh QB who had never started before. The vaunted ND defense looked mediocre and beatable. The ND offense was so-so vs. an equally mediocre USC defense (47th in points allowed). Whoever ends up as our 2nd Natty player will be the next champion.

Let's hope that 2nd Natty player is BAMA so we can taste sweet, sweet revenge and shut those damn Irish fans up!!! First step: TAKE DOWN THE DAWGS! I think the motivation of battling ND on the national stage again will be a huge driving force for the Tide next week. It will be super close though. As tight as the LSU game if not tighter. I am really nervous, but I think we can do it!

First time in my life that I was pulling for ND. The six week knob fest started right after the game. I fully expect TD Jesus to be interviewed by game time. The media will have them pumped to Herculean proportions by game time. Our hardest game will be UGA.

For sure. We are quite evenly matched, and UGA will be hungry for a shot at the big stage. I just think it's hilarious we will have yet another SEC team in the NC.
