He's "shopping" from what I know so far, so it may be a bit before he settles on a bid he likes. I know Bama allocated a certain amount of NIL for things like this but I don't think we're outbidding Texas or TAMU will be interested to see what shakes out here. HE does like Bama though, from a personal standpoint so would he take less? Who knows....I'm pessimistic on this from Coleman's side, they want $$, Playing Time, and to be a featured receiver. I don't know if Bama will be able to meet two of those three criteria even though Coleman DOES like the staff and the school more than others.

I don't know anything, but I don't believe Bama is about to bid big dollars for anybody. You have to keep those you already have happy 1st and that would take most of your dollars.

I don't believe Cam is a character guy. Reading the Barn Rant, they tell themselves they have 30 million to spend on a roster yet player after player is leaving.

It appears they're going to get the QB from USF and several more players from USF.

Yea Nix is interesting, and Red Morgan his former teammate are good friends still...even sent something to him on his instagram today about it, so may be Bama is in play here. One of the moms of a player also made a post about it, now I know they don't make the decisions here, but when you're inside that circle you talk a lot and sometimes tip the hand there...Nakos came out with an article saying Texas and TAMU are the ones in the front right now. This is a big transfer, I doubt his side is going to make a quick decision on this.

I think for Bama it comes down to can you pay him and still pay everyone else? I don't think we can... at least not at what TX and other schools will be offering. Now, would he take a lower number to play for Alabama... That isn't something I even pretend to know these days with these kids. My guess is no.

Coleman was originally committed to A&M if I’m not mistaken. Also, I don’t think we even made his Top 5. Now, could he be interested in UA and would he be willing to come for less? Only he and his family know those answers.

With this stupid NIL and portal the portal losses can be overcome fairly quickly. Maybe can't replace some of the top end talent but can reduce the impact. Now what I hope happens is that they truly implode but lets face it there was some problem going on down there and it can't all be on the previous coaching staff.
